<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\nOn their third album, No Speed Limit For Destruction<\/em>, Canada\u2019s INEPSY<\/strong> leave the d-beat behind in favor of some Tank-meets-Mot\u04e7rhead NWOBHM influenced hard rock\/metal\/punk. Initially released in 2007, the final full-length from Canada\u2019s now legendary rock \u2018n\u2019 roll crust punks will be available on CD and limited-edition vinyl via Tankcrimes on March 27th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n INEPSY<\/strong> notoriously existed from 1999 to 2011, unloading a barrage of EPs and LPs in their twelve years of activity. Now, Tankcrimes honors the band\u2019s revered legacy with physical reissues of their entire catalog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe wanted to do something different,\u201d said bassist J.P. Hearse of No Speed Limit For Destruction <\/em>in an interview with Bandcamp Daily last year, \u201cWe were always known for our d-beat\/rock \u2018 n\u2019 roll sound, but we wanted to focus more on the rock \u2019n\u2019 roll side \u2013 mid-tempo stuff. When [late guitarist] Steve [Bennett] left the band, we brought in [guitarist] Bob-E to take over [on] rhythm guitar. The album wasn\u2019t well received at first, but over time, we realized either people hated it, or they thought it was our best material. There was no middle ground. Looking back, we discovered there was an issue with one of the guitar tracks. It wasn\u2019t loud enough, so without realizing it, we had unintentionally dialed back the distortion, shifting the overall sound of the band a bit.
